Nora is the founder of her own amazing company, Nora Fleming, and her mission is to simplify the art of entertaining- definitely not an easy task! She makes it easier to celebrate in style with her creative interchanging serving pieces. One platter works with all of her pressure fitted “mini’s” in different styles and colors, allowing you to take the same platter from birthdays and Halloween, to the holidays! Nora needed some new press shots and gave Samantha from puddle jumpers photography full creative license. Here is what they got from it: a gorgeous woman with her own business, some amazing new products, plus fun fashion and home decor all in one!

Parties and Events: Tea Time

Today’s submission was staged as a wedding inspiration shoot, but we think this tea party theme is perfect for any occasion! There’s nothing more classic than a vintage tea party, but Zipporah K Photography threw in some updated details to make this tradition seem modern and fresh. Swap out the real roses for charming paper ones, bake up some red velvet cupcakes, and throw on a vintage white frock, and you have all of the ingredients for a perfect afternoon tea. (Oh, and don’t forget the gumdrops. How cute!)

Introducing Image Collections and Detail Posts

A few weeks ago Two Bright Lights introduced some big changes. One of those big changes was allows all sorts of non-wedding related uploads and submissions. One category we were very excited about including were Detail and Image Collection albums. These album types were created so that you all could submit collections of floral images, tablescapes, interior design features, etc.

We are excited to introduce these changes by sharing the work of talented photographers and vendors who have chosen to share their work with us in these new categories. And today we are in love with this styled tablescape which was inspired by a piece of original art called The Emergence of the Feminine. J and J Photography worked with floral designer Worship Luxury Inc. to create this lovely styled shoot. They were asked to create a perfect table setting for a romantic proposal. And we love what they came up with. Jared of J and J Photographer told us that “this table gives the couple their own island of elegance and sexy romance, flowers are abundant and beautiful and truly set the mood for a perfect proposal.” We agree and are excited to share it with you as our first Detail Image Collection Post………

Delish! I think we would choose the NY Strip Steak as I can never say no to anything having to do with risotto. And the Wedding Cake sounds tasty and romantic. What a perfect proposal menu!

We thought the floral details were full of spring, modernity, and hope, which was perfect for a proposal styled shoot. What J and J Photography and Worship Luxury did a great job with is creating a specific feel. And in styled and detail shoots a coherency within the elements is crucial to a make a standout submission. They did a great job!

Want to start submitting your own Detail and Styled Shoots?

If you would like to upload some detail shoots, image collections or styled shoots all you have to do is login, click your Albums tab, click Create a New Album, then select Detail then Collection and then select your collection type. Styled Shoot is actually is own separate category so to create a Styled Shoot instead of selecting Detail, select Styled Shoot then select your Styled Shoot type.
