Welcome to the dreamy underwater world! This engagement shoot is full of bubbles, magnified smiles, and a vintage wedding dress that floated and swirled around the couple to complete the ethereal look. Cassie Leah Photography thought it’d be fun to literally “take the plunge” with this couple who love the beach, water, and are even planning on getting hitched on a floating chapel! This refreshing theme showcased their fun-loving personalities and connection to the Gulf Coast, while making sure this beautiful salt water pool in downtown Sarasota would serve as more than a decorative ornament in their vows.
Before diving into all the fun, the couple made sure to show off the classic look of the venue in some pre-pool shots. The bride’s vintage wedding dress complemented the private historic residence, complete with a romantic courtyard, classic style fountain, and of couse, the salt water pool.
During their splishing and splashing, the engaged couple channeled their whimsical sides by defying gravity in this underwater session. There were hand stands and somersaults galore as they showed off their swimming skills in front of the camera. While the pool playtime was undoubtedly fun for the couple, it also resulted in some exceptionally unique shots that simply can’t be replicated on land!
