Styled Shoot: 1920′s Great Gatsby Styled Wedding

Iconic literary character Jay Gatsby is known for wild jazz, grandiose parties, and lavish decadence. If you think this sounds like a stellar time and a fun theme for a wedding, then you’re not alone! Sarah Carter Photography and Brandi Tansley Photography bring this idea to life and put a modern spin on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic, The Great Gatsby, in this 1920′s Gatsby styled wedding shoot. Set against an opulent estate backdrop, Emily and Tod dazzle with style and vintage flair (check out the stunning lace bridal headpiece!). The fabulous style is just the beginning of the dazzling details this shoot has to offer! Check out the images below for some more Roaring 20′s inspiration!

Sarah Carter’s beautiful photography showcases the immense talent of the collaborating vendors. AJK Papery lended their talents to the elegant invitations adorned with a bold and curving motif reminiscent of Art Deco style.

Botanical Gatherings crafted the gorgeous centerpiece for the inspiration reception table. Set within an intricate wire birdcage, the centerpiece features soft pink and white florals. We love the creative design and feather accent!

From cake to candies to cupcakes and cake pops, Desserted Planet‘s dessert table is to die for!  We love the extensive array of desserts and the gorgeous presentation.  This decadent dessert display would even make our favorite “old sport” Jay Gatsby jealous.

Thanks again to Sarah Carter Photography and the talented vendors for all the 1920′s inspiration!
