Real Wedding: Offbeat Romance by the Chesapeake Bay

We just love when a wedding showcases the couple’s fun personality, and this Virginia wedding did just that! David Schwartz Photography did an amazing job capturing this wedding’s fun and offbeat feel. After a traditional church ceremony filled with happy tears, everyone headed to the bride’s parents’ house for a gorgeous backyard reception overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. This couple was all about incorporating their family and friends into their special day. One of the matrons of honor made the beautiful three tiered cake, and  the bride’s sister sang at the reception. Not to mention, the talented groom sang for both the father/daughter dance and the couple’s first dance. For a unique romantic gesture, a friend of the couple launched a cannon ball featuring their initials off the dock. Guests then danced the night away to the eclectic roots/ rock band Moossa. We just love the bright sunflowers and deep blues that seem to bring every detail to life!

Thanks again to David Schwartz Photography for a look at this vibrant Virginia wedding!
