This bride and groom both hail from the same town in New York, but they knew a small and intimate wedding would not be possible in their hometown. So the couple moved their special day to gorgeous Boca Grande, Florida. They both had spent time there with their families growing up, and felt that the location was perfect for their dream wedding. Most of the guests migrated down from New York, and enjoyed the gorgeous island feel of the celebration. The bride made sure to incorporate the tropical feel into her wedding details, using both sky blue and deep sea turquoise. We just love the elegant way K and K Photography captured the entire event, the photos make you feel like you’re standing right on Boca Grande sands!
The bride used many shades of blue to give the celebration an island feel, but also a classic look. From the bridesmaids dresses to the striped groomsmen ties, everything gave off the relaxed vibe of the ocean. The reception featured blue paper lanterns, blue table linens, sea glass and mason jars. The bride also added a modern twist to her outdoor reception at the Boca Bay Pass Club with an amazing black and white dance floor. One gorgeous detail is the pop of pink in the centerpieces, the added color really brightens up the entire table.
Thanks again to K and K Photography for a look at this beautiful destination wedding!Event Planner: Events by Maestro Floral Designer: The Naked Florist Musicians: Tropics Entertainment Reception Venue: Boca Bay Pass Club Invitation Designer: William Arthur Fine Stationary Ceremony Location: The Gasparilla Inn Golf Club Equipment Rentals: US Tent Rental
