Styled Shoot: Cherry Blossom Engagement

We are very excited to share this engagement editorial with you! Denise Lin Photography‘s photo shoot was shot mid-April and was inspired by the recent bloom of the Cherry Blossoms! She wanted to create an intimate, romantic, yet luxurious picnic style atmosphere under a canopy of cherry blossom trees in bloom. She incorporated the beauty of the nature surrounding them in Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver British Columbia, by adding touches of natural wood and an abundance of beautiful floral arrangements complimenting the soft pinks of the Cherry Blossoms in the background. The table was custom-made so that the couple could sit casually amongst several floral print and lace trim cushions. The table was also set using antique, gold-rimmed bone china plates, gold flatware, and champagne flutes, bringing an “old world” romantic charm. The 1-tiered cake by Anna Elizabeth Cakes was the final touch on their decor and encompassed all the design elements. It had skillfully hand painted flowers and incorporated a gold painted floral branch, which encircled the cake beautifully! We just love all the beautiful contributions that went into this styled shoot!

The calligrapher designed a beautiful card using what they thought to be the perfect quote for this shoot “Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.” Denise Lin Photography told us, “our models, although appearing as they should be a couple, blended perfectly together almost as though they had been in love forever!
