Just For You Photography flirted with country spirit and brilliant rays of sunlight in these two engagement sessions. Although both photo shoots were in Canada, the rustic backdrops evoked the image of a summertime farm in the South. Not only that, but the creative vision of the photographer and the couples resulted in two totally different photo shoots, despite the common country theme, that helped tell the love story of each individual couple.
Kristen was always a country girl at heart. For her engagement, she returned to her childhood farm to make a new memory with her fiancé Marc. The photo shoot is filled with farms, horses, sunlight, and Kristen’s happy smiles (this last one was Marc’s doing). The couple even showed off their country spirit with cowboy boots and plaid shirts. It was a great way to showcase their love, while also tying in Kristen’s love of horses and the farm. Their rustic theme will undoubtedly continue for their summer wedding, set in the Canadian Rockies!
Just For You Photography also captured Heather and Mike, another happy couple who were looking for a photo shoot with a special backdrop. But instead of a farm with green meadows and fields of wheat, Heather and Mike headed to a local cornfield. The vibrant color of the green leaves, combined with their maze-like pattern, allowed for a super intimate photo shoot. It’s a very different look from the wide open expanses found in the previous farm, but equally as rustic with a southern flair. The couple is scheduled to marry this June in another beautiful location–overlooking the Edmonton River Valley!
