Shergo and Debbi’s summer wedding in Michigan was truly a family affair. Not only was the ceremony hosted by the groom’s parents at their lake house in the scenic village of Mecosta, mom and dad were also the chefs who provided all of the food for the wedding, even the intricate floral wedding cake! Just about every part of the wedding was do-it-yourself, and all of the festivites seemed to be centered around family and friends. From the intimate lake side venue where children could jump in the water for a swim after the ceremony to the handmade wedding favors and personalized photos of the guests, this couple really made an effort to share their special day with all their loved ones.
