Engagement: Love as timeless as the Brooklyn Bridge

Timecut Photography chose the Brooklyn Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge Park, a classic date location for any New Yorker, to tell the story of a newly engaged couple who has bridged the distance between two people, in the way that the Brooklyn Bridge first brought urban Manhattan to rural Brooklyn in 1883. The photo shoot celebrates a budding love and a historic architectural marvel that both embody the beautiful mantra that no matter the distance, love and hard work can always unite us!

We also love the strong visual links we spied connecting the 276-foot tall granite towers, which have weathered strong winds to support a bridge that can withstand at least 21 elephants, and the solid foundations of the couple’s relationship. The photos feature the couple’s silhouette replacing the neo-Gothic towers, or show the couple holding hands in a way that seems to symbolize the bridge in an abstract, subtle way. It’s a creative method of incorporating the history behind the location to bring a thoughtful touch to the photo shoot.

Thanks to Timecut Photography for sharing this adorable session with us, and congratulations to the couple!
