Styled Shoots: Family Heirlooms and Harvest Gold

The holidays are over, but family remains the center of this  elegant styled shoot from Amanda Dorian Photography! Located at a Morais Vineyard, a rustic, family-owened vineyard in Bealeton, Virginia, this shoot aimed to capture the importance of family with precious antiques and family heirlooms.  Many of the details in the event belonged to the family of the event designer, Tracie of Setting the Mood. Incorporating family heirlooms (or even those new Christmas gifts from close family and friends) can be a perfect, sentimental touch to a wedding!  Family momentos can make perfect table markers or centerpieces, while heirloom jewelry for the bride can be the perfect way to keep her family close on her wedding day.

In addition to momentos like family photos and a memory board guest book (with places for guests to pin favorite memories,) this shoot mixed precious trinkets with harvest colors (like the model’s incredible gold gown) and decadent treats from A Taste of Elegance and Fat Girl Cakes.  The harvest theme works perfectly with the vineyard venue and the incredible family details.  Thanks to Amanda Dorian Photography for inspiring us with this fabulous mix of rustic elegance and antique, family charm!
