‘Tis the season for festive wedding celebrations, but how do you have a holiday wedding in the Sunshine state? This couple didn’t wait for a white Christmas to celebrate their holiday wedding in the tropics! After living in all the odd corners of the world, this couple that met while serving in the U.S. Army tied the knot in the palm-tree filled state of Florida. Nina and Mike’s winter wedding managed to combine the warm, snuggly feel of a winter wonderland with a vacation in a tropical paradise.
Karen Harrison Photography takes us to Lakewood Ranch, where light blue waters and even bluer skies complete the tropical paradise portion. At the reception at Polo Grill, the couple celebrated the holiday spirit with rich, bold red accents found in the floral arrangement by Bee Ridge Florist. So how do you keep things festive without feeling out of place in the tropics? Keep things light and modern with white bridal flowers, and add sprigs of holly and evergreen for just the right amount of holiday spirit!
