When Jenily Silva and her husband heard about the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, Georgia, they jumped at the chance to explore its antique treasures. The museum features everything from restored antique diesel locomotives, to the private car once used by President Warren G. Harding! Luckily, Jenily grabbed her old film camera to share all of these treasures with us. Here is what she had to say about shooting the Museum:
“I’m a blogger and lifestyle photography is my passion. I love to express and communicate the things that awe me and inspire my journey as a blogger. There are so many different places to choose to photograph, but when I’m looking for a special way to inspire and dare myself to be more creative, I usually consider visiting antique/vintage locations. And this museum has it all–35-acre of memories, “nostalgia” and imagination, coupled with 90 items of rolling stock, including historic Pullman cars and classic steam locomotives. Speaking of the day, I was feeling a little lost with my camera, but it was really nice to feel a sense of accomplishment after finishing the session. It certainly inspired me to plan more fun projects with my film camera!”
We love that Jenily’s phenomenal travel shoot and can not wait to see what other adventures you all share with us!
